Current Work Experience
Mr. Chelpon is a Senior Advisor with The Craddock Group and is based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He is responsible for supporting agencies in budgeting, accounting, and performance and results reporting, including support of the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Defense Production Act Title III loan program.
Prior Work Experience
Mr. Chelpon spent his first career on active duty with the U.S. Coast Guard. He subsequently served as a civil servant for 25 years in the fields of budget development and execution, accounting policy, and property policy with the Coast Guard, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and DoD. Additionally, he served as a member of DoD’s joint basing initiative and as an analyst in Defense Acquisition.
Education
Mr. Chelpon is a graduate of George Mason University (BA) and Central Michigan University (MA).
